I think he’ll be a great player for us in a back three / five with the experience of Sollbauer rather than a flat four alongside only Mads where both struggled. He would play left or right presumably, maybe instead of Jordan Williams, and his pace and power will be a big asset. He likes to go on a run, in this system he’d be covered to do so. I hope whatever he has or hasn’t done is sorted and any punishment is announced soon, and is hopefully already served. I think he’ll be a great player under Struber’s system.
I agree with you & if you consider how Anderson has improved under the coaching of Struber then surely there is a good chance that Bambo will follow suit & benefit from Struber"s influence .
I know people like to hold the EFL as this big supervillain - but this is nothing at all to do with them. This was raised by the FA and is currently being handled by UKAD.
True. Swap EFL for FA then. But everyone is accountable for their actions and timeframes must exist - contractual or not. I can’t imagine why it should take this long. He either is or isn’t guilty. And if he is guilty, it’s either deliberate or not deliberate. If he’s guilty, and it’s deliberate - then he deserves a long ban sadly. I don’t think any fan would argue with that. They just need to get on with it.

If the evidence against him isn't that clear cut then surely he's innocent by default (ie can't be proven guilty)
It probably doesn't require the same level of evidence as a criminal trial - I'd imagine they use the balance of probability, just as I think civil cases do.
Given someone's livelhood is at stake that is a very risky way to determine guilt or innocence IMHO. Also by now they have had time to resolve this and both BFC and the individual have been subjected to an unacceptable delay. For this uncertainty to extend into a second season is utterly ridiculous.
Agree with you - giving people drugs bans on balance of probability doesnt make sense. Either he failed a test or he didnt - if he failed then maybe there is some scope for mitigating circumstances - like for example the Alan Baxter ski case years ago but that really only affects the length of ban not whether there was an offence The other things listed above eg supplying avoiding tests etc should be fairly clear cut. I cant make any sense of this unless as some are suggesting he is serving a ban but its being kept hushed - in which case the big question is why. I cant think of any reason why a drugs ban would be undisclosed
If found guilty he will more than likely recieve a four year ban. He will be released and not play for us again.
I think it's pretty likely that he failed the test. That will have been determined a long time ago. The problem is that he will be claiming that it was a false positive - probably as a result of contaminated supplements.
You can usually tell within a few games if a footballer is any good or not there is/are exceptions to every rule(Mads being a good example) completely turned it around.
The way I see it is if a player has been in football teams and academies for probably 10 years and still hasn't got any positional sense, awareness or football techniques then chances are they aren't going to suddenly develop it.
