If midfield have confidence in the defence they're more likely to push up and press the attack. Even without the striker we would have liked we're more than capable of getting goals..
I can’t decide if I’d rather have a bit more experience in our CB pairing. Don’t want to drop Shepherd, but worry that him and Rooney might be a bit naive.
Keep it the same. Make Rooney work for his place and keep the others on their toes. if you drop players after playing well it sends out the wrong message. Play well keep your place - simple.
How about go 3-0 by half time with the same side that beat huddersfield then bring some off the bench in 2nd half....well we can dream.
