Fantastic player for us and to leave such a good impression after so relatively few games shows his commitment, skill, resilience and eye for a battle. I fancied him against any 2 defenders, at any time, at any ground. Obviously had we not sold him, we’d have gone back up.
After that 7-1 Huddersfield hammering did he think at that point we’d go up with him, Higgy and Bruce - or did he already know at that stage he was on his way to Blackburn?
Looking forward to this. RHOC shows what a family man he is. He put up both his parents at Worford Hall where he lives. But because of lockdown his 88 year old dad had to go back to his own home to issolate and his mum with Alzheimer’s was looked after full time by his wife Dawn until she was put in respite care. Top top man and from his property deals he's probably made way more money than he did as a Football player. He's recently had his 25th wedding anniversary so he's not your typical football player.
I've never watched RHOC but it's all for the cameras so I'm not sure how much shows the real "him". However as a footballer for us he showed great talent and commitment and we played some great football in the Premiership. And it's great that he's agreed to do this interview, really looking forward to it.
