Robbo for me. That Bobby Moore-like tackle alone was deserving of it. Scowen put himself about in an unfamiliar position so I wasn't complaining that he'd got it though. Yiadom has improved massively since I last saw him in August. Bree was skinned a few times so wasn't a candidate for me.
I agree, it was virtually impossible to pick one player because the entire team played well. I thought Scowen was excellent but I wouldn't have had a problem with almost any other player winning it.
I suggested Bree but got slapped down by the bloke next to me who said Scowen. Roberts was my second choice.
Bree has a pearler. That sliding tackle int second Half where he retained the ball mid tackle and strode away with it reminded me if Stones! Not saying he was MOTM or a £50mill player but he should have a cracking career.
Yiadom for me. Our strongest full back by far, then MacDonald who was solid all afternoon, then scowen purely for his effort, Bradshaw was up there too and so was Roberts who would have been higher in the list but for some poor long passes out from the back. Bree? Around mid table. Was good going forwards but poor positioning and tackling defensively
