Off subject a bit, but imagine you are Sheffield Wednesday. No team and no preseason games. Now there's something to worry about. We moan about a lacklustre game at Worksop, how do their fans prepare for what's ahead? Not our problem I know but just think about it. Then smile broadly.
Things starting to sound positive for a buyer according to a few sources. They’ll come out of this better eventually…..sadly.
Without a doubt. Best thing that could happen would be Chansiri declines to sell but that looks unlikely now
He has to sell as the only other route is admin and then he’ll get nothing. The only positive (for those not fond) is that Chansiri still owns the ground so will still have some influence even when the club gets new owners. Hopefully he charges them ridiculous rent
Yeah I know lol, but I was just a bit disappointed in some of the comments after yesterday's match. Hey I haven't changed my mind at all by the way, about the critical things I've said before. But I do want to try and let Conor and his team, start the new season with a clean slate. And like we always keep asking, what exactly can we gain from these non league team friendlies.
I'm in the same camp as you Ubey, and Shepley, and a few others, you know what I think about these owners. But Conor has got the job now, and whether he should have done or not, and whether fans like it or not. Let's give him a chance hey, even though I've also got my doubts etc. I'm saying that as he was a brilliant player with us, surely he deserves that slack, that fans often refuse to give a manager/coach.
