Lost count of the amount of times Dane said he didn't know because a situation happened before he got here. Wouldn't you ask how things are run so you know what to expect? So you don't go in to something blind to what's happened before you got there?
To be fair some of the questions were fecking stupid from Pig FM. Asking him about Cryne family money - WTF?

Great interview by Dane - 25 minutes long. And he admits that more should have been done regarding providing information to supporters. As I’ve said all along - every confidence in these owners. They are at the start of their journey at Barnsley - the first few years are more than likely to be bumpy - but they will get it right. They need our unequivocal support. And to reiterate - exciting times ahead !!!
I understood it to be an enquiry as to whether the Cryne family is still owed money. Far from being irrelevant, that could become a matter of great interest if the present owners choose to walk away (see Archerfield's comments on the 'Minority Report 2019-20 Annual Accounts' thread). I thought Andy Giddings' questions were thoughtful and incisive. Sadly, the answers revealed very little, which was probably Murphy's brief.
Just listened. 25 minutes of my life I'll never get back. Utterly pointless and told us nothing - apart from seemingly wanting to let us know that Mowatt will be next to leave. And as mentioned above, only the daftest kind of Nudge would break news like that whilst fighting a relegation battle.
Was just about to post that about Giddings - his questioning was excellent. Had clearly done his research. Well done Andy. Thought Dane did ok. Lots of holes though. No explanation as to why he hasn’t communicated. Legal reasons is absolute BS. You can still communicate it’s just that your communications may be constrained in content - he just hasn’t communicated Judge people by their actions so far I have seen very little to be positive about
Really, halfway through most of those questions l was thinking... he wont have the answer to that, they arent going to reveal that, which football club would... and how many times did he mention Stones money - he went to City in 2016. I doubt he'd ask Chansiri similar questions. I thought he was going to ask him where the Carl Tiler money had gone.
Got to be honest and say, I wasn’t that impressed with Giddings questioning, not so much the questions but the way he asked, almost every question was as if he was trying to find the right/nice way to ask the questions, wether there is a back story to this not sure. In terms of Dane, I also thought he did OK, wether we like it or not he has to be guarded about what he says in his position but his repeated don’t know before my time did start to come across as a default answer which was a shame as he slipped a couple of nuggets in there. I notice no one has mentioned he clearly stated the Owners have put some of their own money in and have plans to do so again. In terms of the communications issue, I’m not too fussed about the why but acknowledge him admitting he personally should have done better in his role, which IMO is a start. From here like you say let’s judge them on their actions.
Must admit i thought he was talking out their initial investment at that point. Will be interesting to see the investment he was talking about though
