Found his level. No words for anybody to eat when with wages he will have cost us around 1.5 million to take three dozen matches and a relegation to score from open play. Let's hope he keeps paying back the faith that's been shown in him at long last.
Well done to the lad today. Really chuffed for him. A very young lad who didn’t speak the language, moved his whole life over here. Hear from those who’ve met him he is a very nice and humble lad who is determined to work hard and be a success at Barnsley. Compare that to someone like Stevie Mallan (who I have nothing against), who got homesick, didn’t settle, and asked to move back home. Perhaps just taking him some time to settle down. And hopefully this manager will get the best out of him. But again, he’s started really well and hope it helps him relax and build from it.
Trolling the forum? You, that other nobber and a few others have been doing it for years. The biter bit, and all that.
Was a great performance from thiam today funny what a full pre season and been fit can do. He also did a great knock on for bradders before his goal where Bradshaw should of done better. Their full back must be having nightmares tonight 1st of many motm displays from thiam. Take a bow lad.
Constructive and proportionate criticism? I’ve never seen any. He’s either blowing out of his arse, never been a footballer, or just plain fat.
never been a footballer / I could have done better and all that carp. usual fupping garbage from people who have never been a professional footballer.
Yeah he did seen to take alot of the flack. Alot of players went missing last season and were poor but thiam seemed to take alot more stick from many. Was class today though cream always rises to the top as they say. Hopefully 1st of many.
He’s a proper nice lad. Humble and works hard. It didn’t work out last season - like many didn’t. But he has the ability - we’ll see that this year. It’d take most Barnsley folk 12 months to settle in a small Town in France too - regardless of money paid each week. I think that’s what Morais was trying to say - the team has the quality, but lacked confidence and cohesion last season. It became a lost cause. But that’s why the squad has been retained for this season.
