If he carries on like this ...i will defo admit i was wrong. Hes coming on and looking sharp. Good hold up play and offers something different....if we can continue working on him, you never know. Id actually play him before thomas and freiser.
Did a great job today, he’s proving to be a real asset of the bench which I never thought he could be. Fair play to him and long may it continue.
A couple of seasons ago, I didn’t think he’d make a League 2 player. But you have to hold your hands up and say he epitomises what we want from our players. He’s got his head down, worked on his game, eager to learn off the coaches and other players. Far from the finished article but real bonus of this season for me.
Making me eat my words at the minute. Came on again this afternoon and did really well keep up the good work Vic
His physique fits the 3-4-3 system, in which you need all the front three to be able to hold up the ball. He has found a role which suits him and it is showing in his performances. Good on him. He is obviously revelling in the new opportunity he has. I would think that he can still work on the quality of his first touch, but that applies to several others as well. Well done, Victor.
He won us the game just as much as the goal scorers today imho. The ball just kept coming back and we looked nailed on to concede a late goal. He was the only one up there in those last few minutes offering us an outball, and boy did he hold it up well. Took vital seconds of pressure off our defence and allowed them to regroup and prepare for the next long ball. Great sub.
