Let's hope for his sake that Stoke give him a chance. There seem to be dozens of excellent bench sitting goalies in the two higher leagues who might be better employed twixt our sticks. Strikers and goalies - that's the sharp end of our beautiful game.
He is as good as his back four are, to some, extent. Add to that confidence & form. I agree he isn't someone who I would say is Premier League level, as his distribution & command of the area is not at that level. I don't blame him though, after being brilliant this season for us for taking a pay check.
I completely agree. If he thinks his future career is going to be improved elsewhere he's certainly earned his move.
I hope so too, I hope he doesn't regret his move. He wants to play international football so he must be confident he's good enough to be number one. I'd prefer him to stay with us but I reckon he's good enough to play for most clubs in the championship.
If its true Davis has departed these shores then I can't see the club looking any where else than Walton... They've had faith in him before.... Just my opinion ...
