If there's a bee in my hand, what's in my eye?

Beauty. Beauty is in the eye of the bee-holder.

We keep honey bees. One large hive down the end of the garden. Had the first honey of the year a couple of weeks back. It will darken as the local heather blossoms and the little tinkers head further afield.
Huge thing this year is white-tailed bumble bees - couple of nests under our roof slates and the neighbours have one too. Loads of them around, completely harmless and vital to the foodchain, so leave 'em be(e).[IMG]

I was only saying yesterday, there seem to be loads of bees this year. I don't know if its because all of the plants seem to be flowering at the same time after the long cold spring, or if there are more for some other reason. Great news if its the latter.

Assuming they'd flown exactly that way, they'd have flown over the top of Dodworth Bottom prior to flying over Dodworth Bottom. :)
