But are they good enough for the championship after a league one promotion?

Out of the team that got us relegated only Pinnock has proved himself, which most of us believed he would shine.

Davies, Lindsay, Moore, Potts and Moncur haven’t proved anything. And there’s a decent chance a lot of them will be in league one again next year.

Oh I think there is more hope than that

Logically there shouldnt be unless a vaccine or treatment is discovered or the virus changes significantly to become less deadly but what has logic to do with things?

There is a problem that without allowing fans in the lower leagues are not financially viable - you cant kick off leagues 1 and 2 and rely on ifollow subscriptions to support them.

Also the Premiership is talking about allowing fans in in September. There is a lot of money at stake so I wouldnt bet against them fiddling some way though quite how it would work I am not sure. Its far easier to see socially distanced supporters being viable at a game between Lincoln and Gillingham than it is between Liverpool and Manchester United.

Potts is part of a team chasing the play offs. Tbf to Davies he hasnt really had the chance to show what he's made of this time in the championship but he kept a clean sheet the other day. Possible Wigan might stay up and Moore has been part of that. Moncur was never a key player for us.

Wigan would certainly stay up but for Admin and even then they still could Moore has been playing for Wales and not looked out of place and a regular in the side that has been the form team since January - no question he is championship standard.
Lindsay is more marginal but has played regularly for Stoke who look as though they will be safe
    Pinnock we already covered
Potts has played in most games for Preston this season so can hardly be accused of not being good enough
Id say only Davies has failed to prove anything so far but thats because he miscalculated when signing for Stoke

As for Moncur I don't think we wanted to keep him even in league 1 - he is certainly no worse off at Luton than had he stayed with us but he was never one of our key players

I think Moncur wants to rock up in League 1 or 2 with a free role behind the strikers. Score 15-20 a season and pick up his £2-3k a week until he retires. If he signs for a team that will allow him this liberty he'll have a decent career at lower level.

If he does want to test himself a bit higher up the pyramid his talent alone won't be enough and he'll have to do the uglier stuff.
