do you want to outline why this particular piece of satire offends you so?

No I'm not saying I agree with it but you said foetus was a horrible word and I wondered if it had some connotation that I didnt know about?

I'm not sure about Foetus (#3). Personally I think he needs a rest.

Spare a thought for our manager who has to do the team sheet every week.

I feel for the poor bugger coming in fullstop... the most horrid thing about this ruinous data based approach is we purposefully uproot people from miles away in the knowledge we’ll sack or sell them in super fast time. By the time they are starting to settle, they’re gone.

I completely agree. I just hope this guy has done full due diligence before accepting the job. It now seems pointless getting attached to anyone associated with the playing staff.

Do you not think you're going a tad over the top here? Nobody who signs a contract at Barnsley FC is forced to. I certainly don't feel sorry for anyone in coaching or playing football, they earn an absolute fortune in comparison to your average human being. It's us as fans who deserve sympathy, but even then, it's all based on choice.

Satire would usually be ironic or sarcastic, using the word Foetus is neither. You have used it for weeks now and it's neither funny or satirical . It offends me for reasons is like to keep to myself thanks.

It is used satirically and is certainly ironic and whether someone finds something funny is purely subjective, there are certainly plenty of things on here that are horrible, intended to be funny, but really aren't at all, but there are plenty who seem to muster a chuckle to themselves. I understand you have issue with it and that is very much a personal thing.

The use of the word is to merely highlight the contrast of underdeveloped footballers not ready for football. Is the word in itself offensive? Is it worse than when someone says a player has the heart of a pea? Or the criticism of Thiams weight? Or criticism of Cavares attitude to defending? And so on and so on? Some even mused that the area of land being cleared was to develop a creche for the players or a laboratory to grow players.

I'm sorry it affects you so, for reasons I can imagine you don't want to go into, nor need to, but I'm afraid it is just satirical and it is likely I will say it again.

What about twinkle? As in twinkle in their fathers eye. That way with Dougall in a three man mid field you can have
