Earl’s lack of pace would be a bit of a concern but he’d probably do a job at LB. He played well yesterday. Bland looks a find at RB.
The last ditch tackles he makes are more often than not recoveries when he’s been caught out of position. I just don’t rate him and never have....
Lofthouse playing really well at RB for Burton. Can also do a job at LB so could be a valuable squad player next season.
A fortnight since I’d have said let him go but I’d now prefer us to keep him with the new 433. Not sure we will though given his salary.
Only report I found from when he signed at end of January 2023 said he was on a 3 and a half year. No mention of an extra year option.
