it seems you can apparently work from home if you work for Deform, but not if you work for one of their councils.

I think I might apply to be the Reform candidate for Barnsley. Country is wrecked. Labour and Tories are useless. Too many immigrants ruining our lives. British culture is being ruined. Easy!!

Very clever move getting Campbell on board. He’s like a God in Hull even if his political knowledge is very questionable

I think starmer is shitting himself. Saw a interview of his after some waffle about we are making progress and change but after these results we need it to happen faster.

I'd prefer an elected head of state, at least they have to be elected rather than gaining the position solely due to who they fell out of.

Yes there's a risk that we'd end up with Farage but equally if Charlie had had an accident in younger life we'd have King Nonce.

Given the monarch is basically symbolic only I think it'd be better to have the role be democratic rather than perpetuating the idea that some people are innately better than others and born with the right to rule.

He’s never had any kind of strategy beyond crushing the left with the media’s help. Now they’ve turned on him & people would rather have the real thing when it comes to being anti-immigration which is why Reform are soaring in popularity.

Are they anti- immigration, anti- asylum seekers? I’m confused as some of their people say they’re not against immigration per se. Also, are folk who vote for them admitting they only care about immigration and all the other ‘stuff’ is of much less relevance?

I’m not sure to be honest. From people I’ve spoke to who are voting for them it just seems to be a general apathy about living standards & immigration & wanting any kind of change.

I just think Starmer tried to talk tough on immigration & thought he would cut through with voters on it but I think there’s a general distrust towards Labour with anything immigration related since the Blair era & it didn’t work.

Looks like he's considering a partial U turn on his winter fuel cut now to gain some popularity.

In my opinion, I think farage seize's on the moment and plays on his characteristic charm, that a lot of people warm to, there's no doubting his skill in presentation and charisma which makes him an interesting character.
He approaches subjects and asks the awkward questions that most folk would like answers to. That said I'm no lover of his far right or political views that he quite easily masks.
The media love him, so steer away from the character assassination that they afforded Jeremy Corbyn.

Unfortunately for Starmer, Farage wins hands down on the charismatic stage, in fact I'll go as far as saying, Starmer, does himself no favours, with his presentations and would make a brilliant hypnotherapist with his monotone voice, should he find himself out of a job.
Starmer and the Labour party hand in hand with Kemi Badenoch and her mob are playing into Reforms hands at an alarming rate.
Unfortunately the fears of the majority are not addressed, Until we have a cross party, open adult joined up conversation on Immigration, Benifits,Tax and its evasion to put folks mind at rest, and without anyone been labelled racist then there is no hope of moving forward.
I've voted Labour all my life, whilst running my own business, and employing staff too might I add.
Once again the politicians fail to listen, to the mood of the country, but is there any wonder, most are in it for their own gain and follow party policy like sheep regardless of their constituents views and wishes.
Farage and Reform can safely shout from the wings, and make the noise and objection the people voice.
However if in power they would no doubt be worse than all parties.
People want change , non of the MPs cover themselves in glory, hence the rise of Reform
As Ive said, I voted Labour, but given the direction Starmers taken the party, I won't be voting Labour at the next election, that's for sure.
For what good it will do, I'll vote Green
I'm firmly in the Starmer out camp...change of leader change of policy

I find Farage neither charasmatic nor charming. I see him for the privileged racist hippocrite he is.
He is a liar straight out of the Trump schoolbook.
It’s alarming that people are taken in by him. Awful, awful man, horrible policies. What I’m hearing about anti-inclusion, just makes me sick.

Couldn't agree more. 'Populists' always offer simple solutions to complex problems. When they don't work, it's always someone else's fault.

Still not had anyone admit to voting reform eh @DannyWilsonLovechild ?

    Wonder why this is?

Anyone fancy owning up? Or are you all just hiding behind the 'silent majority' ballocks?
