Sunaks letter to him is pathetic. This man has basically broken the law and had to pay a fine for his dodgy tax dealings and Sunak THANKS him? The Letter should just say "an independent enquiry finds you guilty of serious breaches of the ministerial code which you agree with. You have brought shame on this party and done great harm to the public's confidence in this government and as such I am removing you from your position " Absolutely no need to suck his **** and tell him you're proud that he did this and that as all of that is insignificant when he's a tax dodging criminal. And the comment about the country being proud that he's an Iraqi? Really rishi? I couldn't give a toss if he was an alien. It's completely irrelevant to him being sacked
Of course there's more too......with former cabinet minister Matt Hancock who its been discovered only paid 3% of of his (im a celeb) fee, thought to be £300 grand to charity, where he informed us he would pay it all to them!
His constituency should now automatically recall him. Broken ministerial code but still allowed to be a minister….
Let's look at the Tory government Chairman of party: fined for tax evasion Prime minister: tax avoider. Uses non dom status to avoid tax. Fined for breaking the law a few months ago Michael Gove (levelling up): court ruled he broke the law when giving contracts to his mates. drug addict Raab: secretary of state for justice: under investigation for numerous accusations of bullying and previously paid off a complainant Jeremy Hunt (chancellor): made false claims for expenses and had to pay them back. Broke money laundering rules. James cleverly (foreign secretary): crashed car whilst using mobile phone The list goes on but I can't be arsed
Sunak was stupid to appoint him to the cabinet in first place, all this tax avoidance business was known about (reported in the Guardian) at the time he was made chancellor by de Pheffel. As far as I can see there has been no significant new information known even to the public since then let alone to those "in the know".
Not sure who he represents as an MP but we can only hope there are some decent Tory party voters out there who will not want this tax dodging criminal as their representative and remove him very quickly
Politics news - latest: Zahawi attacks media after sacking; 'Charismatic' Johnson suggested as replacement
My dog's got charisma and would be more honest and genuine than Johnson so I think she could make a claim to be next PM. Shall we have a bbs sweepstake on which Tory is next to be shown up for dishonesty/corruption?
And Bojo the Clown was advised not to accept any more financial advice from the guy who never gave him any financial advice back in January 2021 before appointing this guy (his old mate) as Chairman of the BBC.
