Middlesex won as well but Yorkshire now only a point behind them. Could do with a favour from the Lancs in the last game.

Last game is Middlesex at Lords. Don't need favours it's in our own hands.

Have we got 2 games left then? Next one is at Headingley against Somerset.

We've a good chance. Middlesex are at Old Trafford next week and they are desperate for something to stay up. We have Somerset at home who will be out of the running when we win that one.

Then we will be in the box seat for the Lords decider!

Not that they will, but in theory if Middlesex were ahead if us after the next round of games they could prepare a 'road' to ensure a draw and a title win for them.

However at Lord's the pitches are generally results wickets, and this has handicapped even England recently. But if we get above them after next week that would rule out any possibility of that happening!

The weather might also play a part. I shall be at Lords with some luck

despite us both winning today, we gained another 3 points on them and are just 1 behind now. so maybe even if we both win or both draw our next matches, we might have gone above them before the main event title decider
its certainly going to be an interesting finish and lets remember this could be 3 successive title wins, lets not forget what a great team we have to be in with this chance.

Will be about the players allowed to play.
