At Headingley they got the first championship win with most of day four to spare. Could be an omen.

    Or not :)

Brilliant peformance. So much whinging from Yorkies after the first two sessions of day 1, instead of waiting to see if batting would be as difficult for both teams first. For one reason or another not to have a line up of bowlers such as Rashid, Patterson, Plunkett, Wiley and Sidebottom compared to last season and yet still win comfortable is encouraging.

Coad could soon be on the England radar, proving he's not a one season wonder. Brooks I expect to bounce back after his worse season ever last year. Root and Bairstow for the next two games. Shame they are both away so we don't benefit from bigger than normal home crowds.

The production line just keeps on churning them out, it seems. Harry Brook could be the next big thing for us.
