I don't know if anyone else has mentioned it, but it was an absolutely outrageous decision by the referee. The Wrexham player jumped into the Burton keeper, who was on his feet on the right edge of the penalty area.

It’s Wrexham, they get one almost every home game.

They got a soft one a couple of games back at home. It’s as if the officials have a semi on for their fairytale.

    100% they do.

Barely anything against them because they know they'll be in media.

They got one against Stockport the other week that was a joke. Referees seem to buckle to these sides all the time. Just look at the ref yesterday, he couldn’t wait to send Mael off. Sod the travelling fans who now have to watch their team up against it for 90 mins, just appease the baying home mob and have a quiet life. He 100% wouldn’t have sent a Birmingham player off for that.

We all knew it was just going to be Birmingham and Wrexham didn't we, going up as the top two.
And it sure makes it easier as well, with Brum's money and Wrex's love affair with the officials.

And people called me a conspiracist when I talked about the Wembley ref being "bought" - then becoming a Prem ref after.

Wow, that's up there with one of the worst of many. I'd like to see the sending off as well from another angle. It looks like the Burton player bent his leg removing impact.

Prior to the kick off at Birmingham on Saturday one of the commentators on "Blues T.V." said he couldn`t believe how quick the referee gave the penalty to Wrexham, Bet he was choking on his words after the two howlers and the performance by the ref later on.

Don’t know why Neerav doesn’t have an Indian Tv channel following us. That could dwarf what Wrexham are doing with the potential viewing figures over in India etc.

The pen was as bad as the red card burton got. Makes you think, both top 2 teams get to play against 10 men for the majority of the game and both get soft penalties.
Of course it’s just the rub of the green and it all evens itself out.

Nice theory but I can't see the Indians throwing themselves into watching a third tier mid-table football team gifting the opposition a couple of goals every week.
Not sure it'd catch on ;)

Why? The Americans threw themselves into watching an even lower non-league team with a half-built stadium and no infrastructure…….

Yep but the celebrity of Ryan Reynolds helped push that. Maybe if Nareev could get Virat Kohli on board….?!

If Emmy award winning actor, film/TV producer, and production company owning Ryan Reynolds can do it, I can't think why Neerav Parekh, who has a rich dad, can't also do it.

    Tbf, that would be mental.

Unreal how much of a following he has on social media (and how much money he makes from it).

Neerav’s family has a lot more money than Reynolds and potentially a large untapped market audience in India.

All tongue -in-cheek, but sometimes you’ve got to think out of the box.
