Wow.....just got back from one of best away games I've been to.....

I'll keep it brief cos I'm knackered!!!

In 20 years of watching the Reds away that's in the top 3 performances I've seen!!

Rode our luck the first few minutes when they hit the post and we scrambled the ball to safety but other than that we absorbed whatever they could muster and hit them with electric pace on the counter....there fans were booing after 20 minutes with the lack of forward play from there defence but that was solely down to our forwards and midfield pressing them!

Second half started brightly but wolves had a 5/10 minute spell where they seemed to be gaining a slight upper hand but looking back it appeared to be out tactic, let them play, pinch the ball and frustrate them and it worked!!
Then come the double substitution of the year...... Winnall Armstrong off Watkins Bradshaw on......it totally changed the dynamics of the game, we were able to feed off Watkins and cause them a different kind of danger!!

Before you knew it we were 3-0 up....Hammill was quite...(ish) till he scored but you could see what it ment to him, then just to add to Wolves misery Chink-Chenko bobs s little pearler in....it could've got even better if not for a post and a finger tip off the goalie!!!

One last thing.......Connor Houraine, the best performance by a Barnsley midfielder since i can remember and I'm not going over the top either, great passing, tackling, tracking back, leadership and a tidy finish too, the way he's going he will most definitely by gone in January for £7m+!!
