That if the Mawson deal goes through that this will be our record transfer??

I know it would be speculation as the offical line is 'undisclosed' fee, but if I remember rightly our previous record was £4.5m for Ashley Ward?

Before I get the what about Stones responses Im talking about the actual agreed fee, not sell on clauses.

As a foot note, I think this highlights how shockingly bad transfers have been dealt with between those two deals. Especially considering so of the talent that have been on our books!

I'm glad we have finally turned a corner and put a realistic values on our prized assets!

Wasn't Ashley Ward sold for more years ago?
Money then used wisely by Big John to build North Stand

No Ashley Ward was sold for 4.5 million and then 3 years later we went into admin and now we have a big stand that's mostly empty

Just what I thought. People using hindsight to have a dog a big John. At the time of the North stand construction, we were aiming for a return to the prem therefore,at the time the north stand was a sensible plan. Nothing suggested what was to come years down the line
