Worst case scenario and DKD leaves today....

    .... but we sign McAtee.

    Yes, it would be a blow. But as I've mentioned in another post, would a side with the attacking talents of Vickers, McGoldrick, Phillips, and McAtee struggle to score goals? Even without DKD, I humbly suggest we'd still score a shedload.

    Except Phillips has pretty much said he's staying. Connell rumours have died a death and he's been integral this season. Still expect it to be Russell who leaves.

    I wouldn't argue with you mate, McAtee is a proven goal scorer at Championship level and could certainly get a few in League 1.

    A couple of questions, 1) Would we get enough from the sale of DKD to buy him? 2) would his wages be higher than DKD's?

    DKD for me is the difference between possibly having a rare automatic promotion and yet another lottery of the play offs.

    This is my concern. We don’t appear to be linked to any defenders today… so if we get one I’m guessing it will either be someone from abroad, or a loan from a Premier League/Championship club.
