Which is exactly what I'm about to do, Bahre isn't a captain. Never mind his performance, he has none of the attributes.

    Probably needs to be Mowatt.

It shocked me massively when he got the armband and it still shocks me now. I know there is a lot of the role that involves off the field stuff but it would be Mowatt all day for me.

    Definitely needs to be Mowatt.

Doesn't even warrant a starting place, never mind the armband.

Our whole midfield was diabolically bad today. McGeehan and Bahre were also awful on Tuesday. Not championship players.

Bahre isn’t good enough. Yet to see him play well never mind him being our captain. Worst end product of any BFC player I have ever seen. Including Kevin Betsey.

Agree. He’s not a leader on the pitch, and he wouldn’t be an automatic choice for a starting line up for me. By making him captain we are telling the opposition he is playing and that we are playing him in a no 10 role. Makes it so much easier for opponents, especially when he is so lightweight in a tackle. Never seen a player so often get his whole body in between an opponent and the ball and still lose it.

For the record i think he has great skill and touch at times but at the moment it’s not compensating for his lack of battle.

Mowatt or McGeehan should be captain.

Don’t think it matters who has the armband to be honest. I think what does matter is we’ve not got anyone that strikes you as a leader at the whole club.

I remember Butterfield been made captain in what I assume was an attempt to get him to stay but it didn’t matter as we’d got natural leaders like Hassell & Foster at the club & players who’d been with us ages & cared like Steele & O’Brien or a Perkins type that lead by example with his work rate.

Midfield is the weakest unit of the team imo

McGeehan has been equally as awful this season. No way should he be given the captain's armband. He will be lucky to stay in the team when Dougall is back fit.

He shouldn’t even be in the side. Offering nothing. Like playing with 10 men every week.

I admit I was one last season that said he would excel in the Championship and thought it would suit him better .
Up to now I’ve been proved so wrong and tbh I can’t see where there’ll be any improvement as he goes on .
I hope I’m so wrong again but up to now I can’t see it .

He was poor today I agree but I'd have him with one leg in a pot rather than Thiam who seems so out of his depth it's embarrassing and I feel a bit sorry for him.

I honestly do not see what he contributes. I know others see it but I just don’t.

Technically he's very good. But he should be juggling footballs at the circus. He can't play football.

Totally disagree. He is incapable of making the pass that Thiam did in the run up to our goal. Also forced the only decent save their keeper had to make. As for Bahre...

Yep, agreed. Bahre has been very poor for the last two games and will be lucky to keep his place in the side.

I like the kid and rate him highly. However I do understand and agree that he doesn’t have the captaincy mentality. But then again I don’t think anyone we’ve got has, maybe Anderson?

I will give magic the credit for when Luton players were been ultimate shithouses like their keeper and the striker, time wasting holding onto the ball he was the first one over to prize the ball from their possession. Any altercation he was straight in to defend our lads.
