    Cheers. Is it just me that finds this a bit nuts?!

    why on Earth would we do such a thing? Great chance to weaken them. Typically of our board if they opt to take the cash

    what do you base that on?
    Regarding eligibility everything I have read is returning players are not eligible unless there are exceptional circumstances

    so what is your source that they can play?

    where did you get the fact that we are trying to do a deal for him to play the remaining games at Hull this season. Or do you mean we are arranging a permanent transfer? in which case presumably we presumably would want cash up front as they still havent paid us for Angus yet

    Probably said you can keep him for the rest of the season as long as there's an agreement for a permanent. Trying to recover the money if he's not in Strubers plans.

    I remember seeing that Gordon. But have you got the rest of the article. I seem to think because they were returning from leagues that had finished. The new rules applied. But as Wilkes is playing in the Championship he was Ineligible. The link suggests that. Be daft not to include him in the squad otherwise.

    Point 1 for eligibility to play

    The following circumstances must be fulfilled:

    • - the Player is returning from a curtailed division
    • - the Transferee Club has not qualified to participate in a Play-Off Competition
    • - without including the Player on the Team Sheet, the Transferor Club would be unable to fulfil all available places on the Team Sheet
    • - the Transferor Club gives priority to its under 23 players, Scholars and other Academy Players who have made at least one First Team appearance in a League Match (or a Premier League Match) for the Transferor Club; and

    I wouldnt - maybe play him instead of Ritzmaier I but I still don't think we could play him anyway.
    Hulls record since signing Wilks has been woeful so I dont really care if he stays there. Dont think Wilks is the reason - more them selling Bowen and Grosiki but he has hardly been a resounding success there
