Maybe Wilder isn't as ..out of reach.. as some think. Coaches definitely have shelf life and the longer their our of the game the more their not considered down the line. Did great at Haifax Oxford and Sheff U.. But stunk the place out at Middlesboro and Watford in his last two jobs in the champ. So who higher up the ladder than us would come in for him?

Did wonders for Northampton too. I think a promotion on his cv after his time at Borough and Watford will do wonders! Cant see him being here long at all but if he comes, gets us promoted and then leaves, am fine with that!

The odds mean absolutely nothing. It’s a market with limited activity, so a couple of bets on one manager will see their odds fall fairly drastically.

Hardly pull him down for his stint at Watford. If Pep was in charge there they sack him for too much possession based football.

I wound't read too much into his stint at Watford, however, definitely agree regarding his time at Middlesbrough. I'd have thought he would have done a decent job there with the resources Steve Gibson normally makes available but it all seemed to go pear shaped.
