Johnson seems to have this attraction for pundits and fans alike.

    I just think he's a ****

Probably because Bristol were playing Cardiff off the park, then conceded a pen!!

What's that got to do with Cardiff getting a penalty?

At least Lee Johnson tries to get his teams playing football. Warnocks style of football should be illegal.

I completely agree about Warnock. I just wish he'd do football a favour and retire.

Does he? As I remember it, it was the most boring, dull football I've ever been asked to endure.

Still, he must have got Abraham rotating his head properly having used a 100 day powerpoint plan.

I found the interview with Lee Johnson extremely funny...the interviewer must have been paid to see how many times he could fit the word "SHORT" into a sentence. lol

Not sure 987 passes between the centre halves then a pick lump up to Sam Winnall playing left wing back counts as football mesen.

Ah that must have been why bristol took him. My comment was his bristol side play some decent stuff from what I've seen and warnocks style is consistently awful. When he was at oakwell his football was at times wasn't great. However we did go on a long unbeaten run before he left and his spell was better to watch and more productive than Wilsons second spell in charge.... imo

I thought both were dire to be fair with little improvement between the two. I have no idea why Bristol wanted Johnson based on his whole tenure but he's doing OK so good luck to him. Johnson' s best moments were when he was playing with Wilson's team and when circumstances and crowd pressure meant he had to abandon the 987 passes and Winnall on the wing and play 4-4-2.

I just see him as a lucky sort of bloke.

Average player. Didn't really pull up any trees at Oldham as manager.

Took over a winning side from Hecky and Bunny, and won 1 from last 10 at the end of that season.

Mixed last season. Got us to the JPT final but broke losing records and a defeat at Altrincham had him almost sacked.

Stuck by Nyatanga when he was so obviously struggling, and froze Roberts out.

I doubt he would have got us into the championship. He wouldn't have been able to stop tinkering with the team that pretty much picked itself.

For all his great ideas and "bright young managerlyness" and his considerably larger war chest, he's only 4 points better off than Hecky and has played one more game.

I was shocked bristol came in for him tbh. But Wilsons team? Wilsons players were treacy, reece brown, lita, bailey, turnbull ect.... wilson said he wasn't a fan of the recruitment policy implemented by the club. The bfc recruitment team scouted and signed connor, ssw, adam davies.... LJ's turned it around when hammill was brought in and he played 442.

I like your argument anything good was someone else anything bad Wilson. 4-4-2 was literally forced on Johnson he would still have Winnall at wing back.

That's the truth I won't blame Wilson for the relegation the season before and the dross he brought in then like shea, frimpong ect. That would be harsh but he had a nightmare second time round. Put it this way I very much doubt he will manage above league 1 level again..... Johnson was linked with the villa job just last week...
