    Probably resting them for Saturday, less likely to win last night (well I thought so until I saw how poor Cardiff were) so give a few of the fringe lads some game time.

    4 games in a 10 day period might be the reason for giving one or two a breather , bearing in mind that 2 changes were because of suspension & injury

    I think he felt it needed freshening up with us having so many games in such a short space of time so I guess it made sense to do it against Cardiff where you could go with a more physical side

    I don't think our first team squad is as strong as Hecky would have hoped..

    we really missed Williams, Bradshaw and Barnes
    we missed Moncur but not as much
    didnt really miss McDonald
