Two totally different managers both thinking Clarke oduor is a right forward? Not a chance.

Didn't the CEO say that HE had instructed a change in the club's style of play?

Hard to see where we go from here. Defence is porous midfield is non existent and our attack is toothless. What was Rotherham’s record low points total?

I'm more concerned that the 3 managers we've had this season all believe that 3-4-3 is the best formation. Only Burnley and Newcastle in the professional game have won fewer league games this season than us. In the football league Scunthorpe have also just won two, everyone else has won more. We're abysmal, doesn't matter how bad the opposition is, they turn up and fill their boots. Everyone can see we need another body in midfield. Yet we play three forwards every week, under three different managers. That doesn't make any sense. You can't possibly be so unlucky to employ three different people who all make the same fundamental mistake.

I was thinking exactly this when I saw the line up and formation today. Wasn't there a lot of information on Ashbaghi (?) that said he always favours a back four?

The Billy Beane 'Moneyball' strategy saw stats determine who was picked and placed where in the field etc. Are we seeing a similar scenario?

Is the reason Vita's never played that we can't fooking sell him?

Exactly. And when the CEO says that he chose the style of play serious questions have to be asked

There has to be interference from above, who in their right mind would continue with the same failed system. I see no difference between this guy and Schopp, apart from his English is slightly better.

When he's repeating the same spiel as the CEO in interviews, it certainly raises questions.

When defending we're supposed to have 5 at the back but for their first goal Styles was just about still in midfield and I can't recall where Kitching was.

It's not a defence/midfield/forward thing. Or putting numbers on it like 343 or 532 or 442 or 433.

It's organisational - witness their second goal - and its talent - which we lack.

You know they're might be a reason why our Swedish CEO convinced our Board to sign our Swedish head coach. Probably the same reason a certain Manager and his asst manager would only sign ex Rochdale players.

I’m not sure we played 3-4-3 today. Looked more like 5-4-1 without the ball and 4-4-2 with it. Which given that formation, may as well have picked Williams instead of odour.

No idea what formation we were playing once Iseka came on though.

3-4-3 all afternoon. 1st goal showed its failings.
4-4-2 and we'd have had the scorer man marked. Pathetic defending.

Wouldn’t have conceded that first if palmer and Brittain hadn’t stood and watched each other while their player just nipped in between them onto the loose ball. Utterly dreadful play.
