According to the Sky programme summary last night, "Bradford city welcome Harrogate to the Valley". Do they know something we don't? After all ground sharing should be encouraged.

    Who would we share with?

    The Millers
    Pikes
    Pigs
    Fowls
    Terriers

    We have plenty of options.

Well if Bradford are playing at the Valley, we'll be at Home Park then. Either that or Dens park

It was nice to hear the proper name Valley Parade mentioned several times instead of whatever sponsor-driven name they have for it this season. I’m sure it’s coming but the longer we can repel ground name sponsorship the better.

Well done to Harrogate last night. It’s the first time I have seen them play a whole match for quite a while and the step up in ability is remarkable. I can see them climbing the league pyramid in no time.

Utilita Energy Stadium it's called now. I had to google it to find out. Don't know where half the stadiums are now when they get called their sponsored names.

Re Harrogate - I thought they'd do well this season. Definitely in with a chance of the playoffs I thought. Well run club and doing well

Yes they are very well run. The chairman is the manager’s dad. Long serving manager who has taken them up the leagues.

It’s that dirty word at Oakwell - CONTINUITY

Agreed and I bet our lot couldn't spot continuity if it hit them in the face.

Simon Weaver appointed 21 May 2009.

Barnsley have had 10 full time managers/coaches in that time excluding caretakers. We will be appointing out 11th soon.
