Living close to this place, **** ground **** fans yet they manage to do this? Makes our plight that much worse.

    From BBC Website:

    Finnish defender handed U's trial
Colchester United manager Geraint Williams is giving a trial to Finnish international Sampsa Timoska, reports BBC Essex.
The defender, who plays for Finnish side Mypa 47, has arrived in North Essex following the completion of the domestic league season.

Colchester also signed Manchester United midfielder Ritchie Jones on loan last month.

The U's take on Championship leaders Cardiff City at Layer Road on Saturday.

    Leeds Tyke is so right!

Amazing that it's a woman in charge there at Colchester, Multi tasking.............
    Oh yeah!
Something us women know all about!.
    Good on Colchester I say.
Well done to Colchester, they are not afraid of anyone and have matched every side with a WIN or a Draw.
Hope they stay up for showing bloody guts and ambition and scouring the transfer market to bring in players where they consider themselves to be weak.
the players they have added have been beneficial to the squad.
But then again, I am going to disappear into a secluded room and rip my heart out to shreds because we can't even compete with bloody Colchester!!
    By God, it hurts!

We did and I was there.

They fought hard and a Brian Howard wonder goal secured the victory.
But they are fighters and scrappers and also play good attacking fotball in a similar style to ourselves,
Their new manager has a different style to Parkinson.
They are playing nice football and are not to be under estimated.

Living in Colchester it is pretty sickening when I'm just recovering after another defeat on the Saturday and my local paper is full of how well they are doing. It's good for them, but I wish it was us. Is it just a case of low morale and a win will stop the rot? Or are the problems greater?
