    Morning all

    I have just been out for a 45 minute brisk autumnal walk and the weather is absolutely splendid.

    I must admit I needed to freshen up after a rather wild night last night with Georgio watching some French new wave classics by Claude Chabrol: pleasingly I managed to tuck into a fantastic wedge of reblochon, washed down with a bottle of Mendoza Malbec that was truly sensational, all accompanied by Duck & Grand Marnier Rillettes

    cleaning the leaves today and then settling down to watch the boys in front of a roaring log fire.

    what are everyone’s predictions for today - I expect a three nil victory with goals from young Callum, Cauley Woodford and the new strapping lad who appeared to be a roaming centre forward : Victor.

    come on the reds! Have a tremendous day everyone!

    Welcome back, George! Sounds like a wild night indeed! I am looking forward to some cocktails this evening with the other half as we tuck into a three course meal by the fire. Might even stroke the pussy if she allows me to.

    Lovely round here too. The sun filtering through the mist over our lake, geese calling, swans swanning, and everything wonderfully moist.
