I'm disappointed at the result today like everyone else, but 8 days ago if you'd offered me 6 points out of the next 9 with a +4 goal difference return I'd have snapped your hand off. I still have every confidence that we're in for an exciting season with the players at our disposal and the commitment shown by PH.

Some of the things I heard yesterday made me cringe." Winnalls crap I didn't like him last season". "Kents not ready" "Hammalls not bothered now he's signed a contract" You couldn't make it up.

Hey up mate, some people can't wait for certain players to make a mistake and then they pounce. I think they should read the JLWBL's post when he spoke to the presenters of BBC Radio Berkshire, they said it was the best that Reading had played in a while and that they thought we are a good side. I enjoyed the game and am satisfied everyone gave their all. A couple of errors less and a bit more luck it could've a different outcome.

the Hammill thing for me is not that he is not bothered. He is working very hard for the team, but he is out of form and i do wonder if it was any other player if they would have been dropped. The only game i havent been to is Wolves and he did score but in the others he has been poor. I firmly believe he will come through this as he does have the quality.
