Agree as well. We aren't gonna win every week and I think we've ground out a point, and a clean sheet
Yes I agree, very good battling point, all the players putting a shift in despite not having the quality to finish them off. We're 12th, 14 points from safety with a good nucleus of a team for the future. It's not all bad!
Today was a point gained, given the performance. Wednesday is where we dropped points. We need to do better next week though, hopefully the fact we don't have a midweek game will help. We'll always struggle to get much creativity in our front three, while they get selected based on what they do off the ball. That said, Chaplin and Frieser need to do better than they did today. Morris needs to start next week, even if only to manage players' minutes and him not being able to play against Chelsea. If Williams is second choice LWB, we need to see if there's any offers for Odour.
Being two nil up after 52 minutes is a dangerous situation. Go for broke or shut up shop clearly we did neither..
Great point but wouldn’t want a manager of ours to be happy with a performance like that from a football point of view.
Commentators mentioned a few times Val was fuming when we were aimlessly going long But then it seems to happen far too often for it NOT be tactical. Surely? Either way, not working at all right now
Don't think it was a poor performance, based upon how Val wants us to play. He might be thinking that if he had at least one decent bloke up front, he'd be aiming for the stars.
I agree about the result. A point away from home is always OK. Other than 10 minutes in the second half it was a bit dispiriting watching it though.
Thankful for the point, could be critical at the end of the season who knows. Forest played like a low level championship team and we were worse so there's nothing much more to say really.
