They got some stick at the time when they 1st brought in the price structure. But it was and still is the right thing to do I for one would have been pissed off if we had all been charged £37 for Elland road, £32 at ipswich, £30 wolves £42 at wednesday ect ect and they all come oakwell and pay £23. Pleased they introunced the flexi ticket so now people who cannot make every game can pick the ones they can at a more affordable price. Well done bfc until they is some cap on what away fans are charged in the championship this is the right way to go about it.

The owners and directors of Leeds united don't buy tickets, they are given them free.

    Exactly !!
This is exactly my point over boycotts ,
Fans against fans whilst the culprits laugh.
All cellino has to do is sit it out while the fans fight it out.
Any criticism of the club is taken personally by the fans .
A national campaign organised by sensible fans who won't be turned against each other by the first divisive n newspaper story from Murdoch et al .

There's a well known saying. Two wrongs don't make a right.

It is utterly crazy isn't it that we have a situation where a football club charges both it's own fans and away fans a fortune so another club says 'that is disgusting behaviour, YOU can't treat our fans like that. If YOU are treating our fans like that then WE will treat our fans like that. That will teach you' and puts the price up for both home and away fans for the home game too whilst simultaneously providing free tickets and a pretty match meal to the lovely person who is laughing all the way to the bank.

A far, far better solution would be for CLUBS themselves to say no ta Leeds, we don't want any tickets. Turn down a tickets for the game and hit them in the bank. What is actually happening at present is that people cry and moan and then hand Leeds united a cheque for £50k in ticket sales. It's absolutely crazy and there is only one (sorry two) winners and neither of them are the average fan.

Protests and boycotts can't just happen at away games though if OUR club is also happy to rip fans off, they have to happen at both places otherwise you are just an hypocrite just like they are. That doesn't just go for Barnsley, it goes for fans at all/most clubs. It's about time they all got together and said enough is enough.

Would be be good if we had said to Leeds. Don't send us any tickets our fans aren't coming at that price. But if Leeds turned round and said the same we would lose out on a lot of cash
