No, but I wasn't expecting to hear anything in this regard until a release date for the shirts was known. We're as affected by the supply delays (whether caused by supply chain or sponsor issues) as those waiting to buy them on release are.

Me too, but I'm not sure the club anticipated that they'd still not have a release date available at this stage, and the news article today suggests its an issue that extends to many other clubs. Personally, I'd prefer to wait until there's a sponsor's name on the shirt as there's something 'imbalanced' about seeing them without one. I realise this might sound illogical, but the sponsor's name somehow frames the shirt into a particular period of time. It also makes the shirt look less like a training top.
