    sell Thiam for £2.6M and use it to pay his wages. safety sealed.

    (Could easily afford anyway, however I have given up hope that we will ever properly spend the money made on player sales or that the new owners will give us a dime. This way they'll not have to worry about losing over 100k)

    When was the last time that Jordan Rhodes scored 25 goals in a Championship season?

    6 goals this season and a meagre 3 goals last season. Hardly the exploits of a striker that would “guarantee we avoid relegation.”

    In fairness the Wikipedia stats only refer to matches where the player has started in the league. Soccerbase is usually reliable and says that Rhodes actually bagged 17 in 44 whilst at Boro in 2015/16. Poor this season and last, mind.

    Decent player in his prime,,,done nowt since 2015. How much do you call cheap cos Fowls will want him off the wage bill and I believe it was something like 30/40 grand a week they are paying him. That's why they are in the ****.

    Could be a decent loan for reds that one. Wednesday just dont play to his strengths. My mate goes all over the place to watch weds and he says rhodes is too clever for there way of playing. He says hes wasted, always pointing where he wants the ball and they just ignore him. Could be worth a punt till end of season.
