    I was full of new season optimism. What I saw was a pedestrian performance without any real passion, skill or guile. Still, one game in...things can only get better. Find some urgency, effort and right tactics - we'll be OK.

    Luke Connell and James Norwood both look like they will improve the squad. One looks like he can hit a corner and Norwood looks like he might get on the end of a few. That alone would be a good start!
