Also , made me giggle! They asked him if it was true if he'd been asked to play Nigel Pearson in the Jamie Vardy movie?!?

He said yes, but 'I think I'd struggle to be that miserable for an hour and a half!'

Well I may have mis read the book or missed something with the film... but...

I do believe that the KES was related to Hawking/falconry and was indeed was a Kestrel.... which when I last looked was a hawk or falcon... and I do believe that Billy read up on the said Sport... I also believe he told histeacher in the film all about the related 'BLOOD SPORT' but hey if this is a bit beyond you then never mind.

Yes, you're much too sharp for me, Barry. :)

And there was me thinking what a queer choice of film - a compassionate tale of a disconnected lads friendship with his hawk, for a fella who enjoys blasting overfed game birds out of the sky in an industry riddled with illegal raptor persecution and other assorted wildlife crimes. Silly me...

hes still a complete banker no matter what his favourite film is. how he ever made it as a footy player and now as an actor in Hollywood is beyond me!
