******* w@nk, they along with Newcastle should be walking this league and although at times they stretched us, I've not seen a team with supposed expensive, highly paid players look so ****. We deserved a point, and I don't think we played anything like what we have done and can. At times we looked leggy and tired, but overall we ended up with the result we deserved. Villa, well I don't know where they go from here, they obviously have a boat load of premier league experienced players but they don't look any better than Derby, QPR or Reading did and considering the money they've spnuked, thats appalling.
They must be devastated only drawing with the likes of us but then again they didn't look like they gave a ****. If I was a villa fan I'd be spewing that their overpaid team are performing so meh
Meh is the right word for them. They are athletic and quick all over the park, I wished we didn't hit it long so much as well because they soaked up all the long ball **** we served up with ease, but I always felt we were in it. And considering their obvious talent going forward they didn't really hurt us. They were very Meh. I'd have taken a draw before the game and I'm happy as **** to walk away with one, when we didn't play as well as we could. Maybe we set up to stop them, and that stumped our own usual attacking threat. Alas, chuffed with a point, they'll be up there at the end of the season, no doubt, but they need to get their house in order. Their fans are screaming for RDM to be sacked immediately.
I thought they lacked confidence more than anything. Overcomplicated things when they had done the hard bit. Meh is about right though.
I think they've got a lot of good players but it hasn't quite clicked yet. I reckon they'll be close if not in the top 6 come the end of the season. That front 3 terrified me with their pace & having Gestede & McCormack as back up is a pretty good strike force.
