Now that’s unusual, the tournament has been delayed because of frost. I think it’s more to protect the greens than the fact that it’s un playable. It’s been a while since McIlroy won a major and he’s on reasonable form ( except for 1 tournament )
I’m going Cantlay , but moving the US PGA to May could exclude the more northern courses in the future
We once played Pinehurst No 2. October in North Carolina. What could go wrong? It was absolutely baltic! Play delayed for two hours for frost then a shotgun start. Beautiful course but it absolutely destroyed me. The greens were virtually unplayable for a lowly mid handicapper like me. Sounds like it could be fun at the PGA.
Never registered that it’s usually August time and obviously after the Open. Cantlay has stayed up the rankings for a few years now so you could be right . Koepka for me ….. haven’t seen todays scores though
