    Great article in the Guardian in the lead up to the FA Cup QF with Chelsea. Lovely piece. Brings into stark contrast the change in the club in so many respects and imo why many people feel so disengaged.

    The late Robert Jackson who used to present the Saturday sports program on Radio Sheffield always spoke warmly of the way that Barnsley FC were run in the days when John Dennis was Chairman and Mick Spinks ran the office at the Club. In addition the journalist Benny Hill would twist the arm of the guys in the press box to pen a piece for the match day programme. Like you say summat's been lost.
