I had Wilder winning this by KO but wow that was sensational. He is No1 by some way, that is right up there with any performance by a British fighter ever.

Phenomenonal performance. Destroyed him from the first bell. Wilder's corner looked totally clueless to deal with it as well.

That’s two of the greatest performances from a British fighter by one man. Against Wlad and tonight. Truly great.

Also that’s got to be the greatest come back from a fighter there’s ever been? 2 years ago he was allegedly 28 stone. Ridiculous.

Some might not like him but you’ve got to respect him, like it or not he will go down in heavyweight history as one of the best.

As you say to come back from 28 stone, drug and alcohol abuse aswel as the mental health problems it is quite incredible! Just shows that anything is possible if you want to change...... What next for fury then?

There's another rematch clause with wilder then obviously aj. But on this performance, he's on a different level to aj.

It’s an amazing story mate. I think we’ve already got our sports personality for this year and it’s still February (should’ve won it in 2015).

As for what happens next, I think Hearn and AJ not offering 50/50 will now backfire on them. Fury is now undisputedly number one and can demand what the hell he likes.

If Wilder doesn’t activate the rematch clause (he won’t want that again) then I think we’ll see Fury Whyte in Vegas, Whyte has been mandatory with the WBC for about 2 years now so they’ll want that out the way. Plus Fury will get around 70% of the purse.

Wilder has to trigger it in 30 days and has been taken to hospital just now so won’t be attending the post fight presser. I don’t think he’s triggering that rematch in a month anytime soon.

They’ll claim a burst eardrum ruined the fight, can also see claims of an injured left hand being spouted in the next few days, meaning we get Fury v AJ this Summer (Pulev win needed first) and Wilder can slowly bring himself back. Wilder could very easily turn in to another Jeff Lacey, that performance was Calzaghe-esque from Fury.

Whyte was Mandatory for about a week, he was ranked No1 for a long time. He has been set as the mandatory for next year i think. Logistically AJ Fury could happen this year. The reality is it will be very hard to make with all the networks involved.

If AJ fight Pulev he wont be fighting Fury in the summer. AJ only fights twice a year.

He mentioned 'complications' in the ring interview, so something obviously gone wrong before. I reckon there's some truth in the eardrum though. Looked to me like his balance had just totally gone from the third. Consistent with a ruptured eardrum.

He needs stitches in his ear. That’s been confirmed already. He took a beating so was always going to be taken to hospital as they’re a lot stricter on that these days than they used to be. Post fight presser used to take priority believe it or not.

That ‘complications’ line was embarrassing. Especially after he laid in to AJ, who refused to give any excuses for losing and gave Ruiz all the plaudits.

May and late August. Last year he fought Ruiz later than they would have liked both times, but ideally you want two fights closer to each other in the middle of the year as that’s where the money is.

It’s a far easier fight to make than Wilder v AJ.

Eddie Hearn and Bob Arum have worked together recently and that’s an easy promoter to promoter conversation. Wilder is with Al Haymon and PBC, and they don’t release any of their fighters easily. This Fury rematch was forced on them. Shelley Finkel gets involved with Wilder too, so the two blockers are now out of the picture.

Although Finkel has already said they’ll trigger the rematch. Wilder might fancy getting beaten up again for $20m guaranteed

The whole Dazn ESPN thing will be a problem in the US and Sky BT will be here. Yes it can be done if both sides want it. Hearn is going to have to go straight in with 50/50 or Fury will laugh him out of the building.
Wilder will likely take the rematch and hope he can adjust and find that punch and if he can't as you say take the money.
The best hope is probably towards the end of the year. Hearn will want Saudi again. Fury will obviously fight anywhere.

Not taking anything away from Fury in what was an absolutely amazing performance but Wilder is the biggest fraud in heavyweight history.

One punch wonder, who has just hand picked bums all his career. Fury made him look terrible in both fights.
