Was one of the fixtures I was relishing the thought of when returning to the coach after watching us outclass Millwall at Wembley back in May. Seeing my team take on big city clubs (with far larger budgets) & showing no fear especially whets the appetite. We've earned the right to play in such fixtures. These lads have given their all for the cause (albeit with the odd game where they're off form) and I see no reason why Tuesday will be any different. Hopefully, we may get our biggest attendance of the season so far. Arabian Ian is making the trip down.
So was I but I foolishly found myself on an Algarve holiday. Getting a bit bored now with every day blue skies. Looking forward to some Yorkshire clouds and rain next Thursday. Then the pleasure of a trip to Leeds next Saturday. Not sure if there is anything on there...
It's ok thanks but bad timing, having two overseas trips one after the andother means I am away for most of September. Only the two home games missed though - Reading and Villa.
I suppose that's always the risk you run when booking a holiday during the football season. It's something I may well be doing next year.
