I posted on here last Saturday about an incident in which a Sheff Wednesday fan had assaulted a man and his son prior to the game.

South Yorkshire police have been made aware and are seeking witnesses.

Apart from the two people that answered my post did anyone else see the incident and would you be prepared to give information if required.

Please PM me if so and I will put forward your details.

    Thanks in advance.

Forgot to mention - does anyone know the man assaulted?

I saw a bloke get smacked in the nose in the Ora stand, by someone who was alleged to have been a Wednesday fan. Right down the front behind the goals.

They were both Barnsley fans, the bloke who threw the punch was shouting "I'm not a deedah" as he was taken out in front of us cos a few reds fans were booing him and accusing him of that, think they had been arguing about whether we were 'really *****' or 'completely and utterly *****', the coppers got both of them anyway
