Transfer window excuses that annoy me

    1. People saying we can't sign players early in the window because nobody wants to release players till they know what they're doing at the end of the window whilst conveniently forgetting that we sold winnall with 18 days left in the window, hourihane with 9 days left, Bree with 6 left, mcgeehan with 27 left etc.
    Why does it appear that we can't but till everyone knows what they're doing but have no issue losing players before we know what WE are doing? Are we the whipping boys of other clubs?

    Barnsley have been clueless for years in this department, such a soft touch. Even this window, letting nearly half a dozen players out on loan without firstly getting replacements in, you cannot write it, lololol!

    It's not just the club though, it's how many people trot out the same excuses on the clubs behalf.

    Well it's a fact that most of the business comes towards the end. I suspect we probably were naive in the transfers you mentioned though.

    We did sign 3 players before the last day though - but its a fact that quite a bit gets done at the last minute by all clubs
