Just watched tonight’s game on I follow, can’t say I’ve seen every game this year but I believe I’ve seen enough to post.

Thought tonight we started quite well and looked the busier of the two sides. The turning point came from a Cavare mistake, long ball which I can not try and explain what he tried to do with but in any case it ran through, Pinnocks challenge wether penalty or not came from Cavares inability to deal with the long ball.

Goal knocked the stuffing out of us, 2 poor goals, defence and mr Cavare again to blame for one.

At the other end of the field I feel that Thiam
Is far from good enough to start. We need a left footer to give us real width and stay close to the touch line.

Not doubting the work eithic etc to get back into the game but the game was lost first half.
Hopefully the board have seen enough in the first half of the season to back the gaffer and push us on to automatic or play off at least. The Loan market could really help us short term.

It’ll be an interesting couple of months now which will really define our season but all in all
I’m still confident of promotion one way or another.

    Kettlewell and Connor like this.

I haven't been to the Checkatrade games out of principle but Jordan Williams must have had shockers if he can't challenge Cavare for a place. I'd be tempted to give Jackson a go there, at least he can defend.
