    The obscenity which is the football pyramid strikes again, steals one of the youngsters who would probably have made it with us and chucks him on the rubbish heap. Tom - you were always an exceptional player and you can be so again.

    Trouble is Bri. So many youngsters see the bright lights. But the vast majority can't see the light at the end of the tunnel so to speak. And end up outside the PL/EFL.
    Crewe were a great example of players coming through the academies moving on to bigger things. Trouble with that now, is, the big boys now can't wait and take the gamble.
    I wonder how many man utd youngsters from the uk have gone on to play for em regularly (not the odd cup game) in the last decade. ?
    I do wish him well though.
