    Don't want to think how bad they've been if they've awarded us a penalty, booked two of their players for dissent and there's STILL a thread about how bad they've been.

    Couldn't make today's game unfortunately 1st home game I've missed all season and it doesn't have to be haloween for the officials to have a nightmare at oakwell it happens all too often. Sure they is some conspiracy going on. But I never thought we would have been awarded a pen all season, maybe they looked at the stats before game and thought 0 pens given for little old barnsley this season and God knows how many against. Let em have one.

    Not anymore. Double jeopardy rule means a pen and yellow are the correct punishment in that situation. Absolutely no idea why he did that though.

    Just before they scored their second the referee and linesman missed a push on Winnall by their centre back that was so blatant it was laughable.

    No words can explain how bad Kettle is. They must be short on refs if that keeps getting jobs. Simply can't wrap my head around it. Didnt they see that goal he disallowed last year?

    You're right about Kettle but he wasn't the ref, only 4th official

    The ref of course did his best impression of him

    Those officials were probably the most aggravating officials I've seen in a long time and that's saying something! Gary O'Neil gets away with throwing the ball away and two cynical fouls and doesn't get a card but then Morsy gets one for clipping the opponent? Is consistency that much to ask for?

    Well between the officials they all missed an elbow of Chris Morgan proportions to SSW. O Neil handled in the area but no penalty but it was definitely handball as he spent a good minute afterwards mainly bent over rubbing it.

    They were abysmal today. How can they be so bad and so inconsistent at this level and get away with it.

    The ref wanted to be centre of attention and lost control after about 10 mins. Lacked consistency and made some odd decisions. He wasn't supposed by the linesmen though. They are there to help and offered him very little.

    I normally try to defend refs. It's not an easy job. But you can't defend the indefensible. He let them kick the **** out of our players then blew got summat and nowt. Piss poor.
