    Who is going ahead and paying £10 tonight? I'm tempted to, but also temped to listen on the wireless. But local derby ... but midweek game etc etc.

    I’ll be buying it. I used to watch the games via ‘alternative methods’, but have been buying the games, since finding out the club receive the majority of the money from it.

    Radio for me.

    I can't be arsed to essentially do a chargeback on my own club when, as has been said, it isn't their fault.

    Really, all I wanted was for my annoyance to be acknowledged, and it has been, so I am happy.

    This is the thing, and it's something the club will do well to keep in mind: I am content to give them my money, and I actually want to pay over the odds for things like shirts and pies and whatever else, in a way I do not ever wish to do with companies I do not feel an emotional attachment with. I will pay more, and refuse refunds when they are offered.

    And when I am unhappy with something, an acknowledgement or an apology is more significant to me than monetary redress, because by taking the money I (obviously) feel I am conspiring against my own. Hence, I am really grateful for the offer of being refunded my tenner, but I'll not be watching. Thanks for recognising my unhappiness, though.

    There's no reason to feel bad, the club gets 100% of the tenner you pay so it won't cost them anything if that is what you are worried about. There's lots of people not claiming back, lots claiming back and giving to charity and lots claiming back and keeping it and they are all perfectly valid choices.
