i know we are all reds. but alot of my family support liverpool. i think they have made a big mistake not buying Timo Werner for 49 million. probs worth way more than that and a very good player. with all the games they play they rely on front 3 about 95% of time and all clubs need back up.
yes going to chelsea for 49 mill. liverpool said its a financial reason. but they got 250 mill last season and spent nothing apart from 8 mill on Minamino. and will get alot wen they win the prem
Maybe they just thought he wasn’t worth that much money regardless of how much money they have to spend ?
Although 49 million is a lot of money, in the current ridiculous transfer market that deal seems a total bargain at 49 million.
The thing is we no longer know what the going rate will be, given the effects of Coronavirus. I think it's very sensible not to spend £50m right now.
With Werner, Pulisic, Hudson-Odoi, Mount and Abraham Chelsea have some very good, young players. Their future looks good, if those players can live up to expectations of course. Ziyech, who they signed a while ago from Ajax, is also decent.
The only time I've really took not of his performances was in the world cup, and going off them Liverpool are right in telling them to shove 49 million. I remember him being really poor. If he's going to Chelsea then lets hope luck is on his side, they've tarnished a fair few of potential world class strikers over recent years.
probably true, but given the wealth of that club, that owner and the fact they sold Hazard last season while in an embargo I reckon they will be in a good position to be able to spend that kind of cash.
