Will be interesting. For the first time in years, we know that we’ll at least be in the Championship with 14 games to go. This allows better planning and recruitment drive. We also know that we’re an attractive team, with a good manager, and likely to finish in the top 10 at least. So recruiting new players etc, might be easier than previous years. On the flip side, like most clubs, our income sources have been ravaged, and finances are tight. The fact our players have been exposed to the country and been shown to be of quality, also means we’ll have more clubs sniffing about as usual. I think we’ll have to sell one player at least, and just hope we can still continue our decent recruitment. We are now entering the further realms of the long term plan. Which i’ve always seen as the Brentford type of club - which means that although we do still sell, we get higher fees and also reinvest these fees into better players.
I have no idea what league we'll be in! We're currently evens with the bookies to finish top 6, which if we achieve that we've got as good a chance as any.
Ha Ha. Maybe I’m being negative. I don’t think we’ll go up. I hope we do, but I don’t think we will. Nothing other than I think it’s that crazy we could, I don’t believe it.
Your crystal ball works better than mine, so please tell me what league we're playing in next season and I'll get straight onto the bookies
Assuming we are still in this league next season, things could easily go pear shaped in the summer. So, best not to think about it and enjoy the success while it’s here
